Our Mission
At CPDC, we envision a Somalia where every individual has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their background or circumstances. Our mission is to empower communities through education, health, food security, peace-building, gender equality, and agricultural development. By addressing these critical areas, we aim to create a foundation for a prosperous future, where hope and opportunity replace despair.
 Our Vision
We strive for a Somalia that rises from its challenges to become a self-sustaining economy, with every citizen enjoying the fruits of peace, prosperity, and opportunity. We believe in a future where education, health, and equality are not just aspirations but realities for all.
About CPDC
Center of Peace and Development Coordination (CPDC) is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded In Mogadishu, Somalia in year 2017 and registered in Somalia with the Federal Government. The organization has five (5) operational offices in Mogadishu city, Hargaisa city, Baidoa town, Beletweyne town, and Adado town.Â
At CPDC we work and manage our organizational structure in the mentioned above places. Our main objective is to bring together different communities to a common understanding.
CPDC has effective networks and working contacts at all the mentioned regions, which we are using to monitor the situation and needs on the ground. The organization agrees with Somali’s Code of Conduct and adheres to ‘do no harm’ principle. We use theses codes to work with Somali people in general and particularly with the areas that we already established our offices and ensuring neutrality.
The organization is seeking to achieve its goal with the support of the Somali government, partnership, support from international and national civil society and organizations. The reason that we established CPDC is to reach a level that we can inform people of Somalia with a message of peace and democracy, and tell them about the development, education and responsibility, etc. we intensify our activities in central and southern regions of Somalia.
However, we are also involved in research and developmental projects.
Our research entails our focus on areas of healthy environment, food security, peace-building, education, gender-based issues, and agriculture development within the country in order to find long-term practical solutions.
